Answer:

Please go through below points(includes suggestions and GD topics) to prepare yourself for GD round of interviews for any company.

(1)Listen to every one, don't show that you want to dominate others and in a  hurry, make eye contact , praise other participant's for their good points, always say I would like to add ......never say that How can you say........never shout...Be clear enough in your communication , you can mix Hindi & English but convey your message confidently and clearly.
(2)Comment on other's topics, by including some of your thoughts.
(3)A good GD participant is a good team player, so behave like a team player.
(4)Read Editorial sections of Times of India or Dainik Bhaskar.
(5)Daily look at the front page of your favorate page and atleast read first para of all the headlines.
(6)Listen to others and carefully select whether u will talk in against or towards the topic and try to be firm to your topic , try to be less neutral making sure you don't disrespect others.
(7)You can even request the GD taker to take a piece of paper and a pen before starting the GD, and can note down short points while  listening to others.
(8)show your body moves mainly your face and eyes telling others that you are understating others points and you are at least involved in the discussions even if you know nothing about the topic.

Try to use words like these:

Let me explain you like this...
I firmly agree with Mr....however I would like to add....(Instead of  'But' use 'However')
I do not completely agree with Mr. X points as It may not work in all the cases......
I would finally like to suggest/add/say/conclude that ................

Well, friends TCS(Tata Consultancy services) is one of the topmost software development and outsourcing company in India and abroad. It is owned by Mr.Ratan Tata a very well known and respected industrialist in India.

This company is part of Tata Group which has made name in energy, telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, chemicals, engineering, materials, government and healthcare industries also.

(2)Why should you think for joining TCS:

Friends this is my own openion but I have got a huge experience in IT Industry so I can suggest you that " you should join TCS because it is not only a brand name but also a company with very good training and excellent work culture.By these two things I mean to say that for a fresher a better training and a better atmosphere around him or her is very much required so that the level of pressure and stress can be handled easly which TCS has got with them, so I suggest joining TCS just because of these two reasons.

(3)TCS Interview pattern:

Tcs Job For BCA Graduates

Question:

Sir, I Am studying BCA Final Year in Madurai (Tamil Nadu). I want to join TCS. What are the ways to Apply and When they Conduct campus or other interviews

By R.manikandan P.K.N College

Answer:

Dear R. Manikandan, please read below points to get answer for  your question:

(1) If you are really interested to get TCS job then make sure you have read Aptitude questions by R.S Agrawal and 'Let Us C' by kanetkar. Trust me I have lots of examples of my successful students whom I just told to prepare for these 2 things majorly and they got through TCS written test in one go , See being a fresher any company would not expect you to have very strong technical knowledge, they also know the standard of education in our colleges so they keep highly trained trainers to train you people so don't worry about technical knowledge just go through above books and have full confidance in your final project.

And lastly for HR round just prepare for simple HR questions like:

  • Tell me something about yourself,
  • what are your hobbies, your strengths,
  • weaknesses, your plan for the next 5 years,
  • what is your salary expectation,
  • tell us about your family background,
  • Why we should hire you ,
  • why are you the best person for this job,
  • what you know about TCS,
  • why you want to join TCS
And many more, If you want you can ask us all TCS/Infosys HR interview questions and answers Here => TCS HR Interview Questions & Answers

(2) How to apply for TCS : To apply for a TCS job you can go to => Apply For TCS Job Online
and here select Entry Level - Direct Applicants, If you  are a fresher which is not in your case, If not
then select Experienced Professional, or Entry level Campus Recruits, If your are a students from TCS recognized campuses.TCS will contact you on your email id if they find your resume and profile matching for their requirements.

People who have been already selected by TCS campus recruitment at their colleges  can Log In and get their TCS joining or offer letter after clicking Entry level Campus Recruits.

You can also read TCS FAQ for any more doubts you have regarding "How to apply for TCS".

But Please note before applying to TCS job with any qualification you must make sure that whether you are eligible or not, There are some fixed criterias by TCS like:

  • You must have onsistent 60% in academics including 10th, 12th and your graduation.
  • No gap in education for more than 2 years.
Don't worry if you don't fulfill these criterias, there are so many ways to get job in TCS like, many of my friends have worked in small software firms and with experience of 1-2 years they applied for TCS and got job in TCS.Some of my students who were not good in softwares but good in communication ad hardware networking or other fields than softwares , they first joined TCS 's other departments like TCS BPO etc. and with this job joined some good software course which doesn't need much programming like Oracle, IBM Mainfram and after some time  with internal job postings they  are now happily working with TCS's software team.

One more thing I wanted to mention here is please make sure you have your passport ready, I have seen in some cases people have got job in TCS just because they had passport and other had not.TCS has requirements for its foreign projects also so why not have this plus point with you.

(3) Now regarding when TCS conduct campus or other interviews:

For this question I would say , it depends on their requirements , so you can consult your college placement officer for next campus recruitment by TCS or you can always visit TCS above links I told you for all latest updates from TCS and if you could read "Times of India" news paper daily then also you won't loose TCS latest jobs announcements.
