What To Do After 12th, Engineering Or Other Courses ?

hello sir, i don't want my name to be mentioned here.well sir my problem is that, i passed class 12 in 2008,then i dropped out for 1 yr preparation of engineering. But due to weak financial conditions, i couldnt join private engg. college,so i joined a govt college for architecture. In the very 1st semester,unfortunately i didn't give exam...so i will have to repeat 1st yr now. So this is my condition at present. I have to again prepare for engg. exams..But i find myself unable to do it now.so sir its my kind request to you that which career should i opt now .... do bba/bsc/bcom/bca ....or continue repeating 1st yr in this course?i have only 2-3 months time to prepare for engg. exams.i am economically weak student.I am really very tensed and depressed also, i don't have much time too......so please guide me as soon as possible.

See, My dear friend, you yourself answered your question, you have weak financial condition so please don't go for engineering because this is a filed which has got Jabardast competition because every year many people are coming out wit BE degree and struggling for job, some has to do another courses also after BE for getting better paying job.Interest id different thing , If you have interest in BE then financial condition does not matter because you can do any thing for interest. But if this is not your interest then just don't do it rather do what is your interest and also which can be done with your current financial condition.

I always suggest my students that for success always choose path which has got less obstacles so that you can at least feel confident by going ahead faster , once you have have got confidence then tough path will also be easy for you.

My friend and dear you all are not students for me, rather I recognize you all students who ask questions here as my own brothers and sisters, I have also faced poor financial condition.I don't want you to do any course like BBA,BCA or whatever you have mentioned above rather I would suggest you complete graduation from correspondence, don't waste your time for going to our useless colleges who are still running the bloody old syllabus, no career guidance , no interview preparation just bookies knowledge, no personal attention and expecting good results from students.

I would suggest you jooin some job guaranteed courses like CMS Computers Ltd Job guaranteed course, HCL Career Development Course and become expert of computer hardware and networking  while doing your graduation from correspondence, this is not a simple course , you can easily get good job in India and abroad specially in gulf countries, nowadays people are buying computers and laptops like TV and all companies are expanding their IT infrastructure by using latest technologies so you will be having great demand in future.

By this way you will not only complete your graduation but also help your family financially.

My father wants me to join a government company,need guidance ?

what do i do now.I want to do social work mainly for rural development . as i have less experience and less knowledge so i want pursue MBA from a good college.So i need a job to fulfill my requirement and mental satisfaction.my father want me in gov. job.he never force me but i also not want to heart his feeling and i also have not any financial problem yet.i just confused due to my consciousness and never want to hurt my father. I never tell him my opinion papa too. so i do not know his idea for this.now i want a job and i think i should go at my aim and i tell my father about this soon. so please if u have any job right now then please inform me. i m ready for any job technical and non technical. i want just want some work experience for and my own money to do work freely.

My suggestions for you are:


(a) Your father will never feel bad if you you do anything that is your interest , but he will definitely get heart  if you do anything  which is not your interest and you are not  happy by doing that.They want to see you happy and satisfied with your life.

Dear, our parents wants our happiness, you first decide your final aim, then insist your father regarding that , as you said you and your father have no understanding problem so its a plus point for you.

(b) See , in your age it happens with everyone and we think that we should get a small job and earn own money then prepare for our final aim , its a good thought dear but this is sometimes dangerous also because if you are very dedicated with your final aim then only you can do it, else you will be stuck with your current job, I am going to tell you a story of one of my students:

He wanted to become a software developer but he thought like you and joined a BPO company so that he can earn some money and then with his own money he can continue his studies for software companies, he thought good but what happened was once you join an environment then you think like same way, so that is what happened with that person, he started thinking like another people working in that BPO company, like achieving targets, satisfying customers, joining another BPO company , salary increment etc. and he forgot his main AIM, one day suddenly he realized that his aim was different behind joining this BPO company, but at that time he was not able to go back , and now he is not very satisfied with his job as it was not his interest.

So what I want to say is please do whatever your interest is, you can join a part time job only and only when you have financial problem or understanding problem in your family .

But as you are saying you don't have these problems then just sit with your father and tell him that "this is my interest and I will do better in this, trust me" , now if your father doesn't agree with you then never argue with him in any case, remember we can't grow with going against our parents, just do whatever your parents are saying and , in your case as your father wants you to join a government job then prepare for that and after getting that job do whatever your interest is, now your parents can't force you  not to do whatever you are planning to do with your own salary.

But again for this job also you need to do some preparation and make up your mind , don't just go and leave and loose your interest , I suggest you make your plan and let me know so that I can again guide you for that.

But I again suggest you try to concentrate on a better job , because these jobs will also require your time and traveling expenses, so why not do it for a better job.yes there are other jobs also bu having a BE degree I won't suggest you go for that because you will never fee satisfied with those jobs and you will blame me for that surly in future.

Dear sir, I m manisha , from Nagpur yet not married.sir i want to ntell u about myself, i have completed bsc(microbiology)49%, MBA(marketing, HR)64%, after that i have done M.A. in public admin by getting third division, i have done o level computer course with 1st division also does SAP but not done practice of SAP.ABOUT my working profile: i have done mkt for 10 months for multinational company. after that 4 to 5 jobs in mkt for less than 3 months. so my profile is not good. also my academics also not good.REGARDING my hobby: i m very much fond of singing without singing i cant live in other sence i cant live without music, its my passion.ABOUT MY NATURE:I want to tell u from my childhood,from childhood, i was dreaming i always sing with radio due fearness i was unable to tell all these interest to my family, also they always scold me when i sing. when my brothers out of home , i sing, but nobody guide me for taking professional training, as i grow i can not forget to sing, i join classical traing class , everybody in my family was againt that.when i start practicing at home, eveybody scold me, i dont know why, also it as very difficult to manage tution fees.still i have learnt upto madhama.i m not not acquire the skills that require for singing still i m singing at home.this is one aspect.MY ANOTHER ASPECT:also i was trying to score good mmarks in academics.i m not satisefied with my %, so there another kind of depression. i sept whole time for studies and singing.
